Bayliss increases supply of graduate biologists

Dr. Frank Bayliss received the Presidential Medal at S.F. State’s graduation.  His alumni participated in the Innovation & Equity symposium in January. His Student Enrichment Opportunities program graduated 21 underrepresented minorities who went on to gain doctorates from 2004-2007 with 73 more on track to complete doctorates within five years.   On Saturday, 24 of the SEO students graduated with 10 headed to doctoral programs.  Bayliss was also recognized by President Obama at the White House in January.
